An introduction of sorts...
Let's face it. I am FAT. Not "could stand to lose a few pounds" fat, but "one hamburger away from a heart attack" fat. At my heaviest (June 2011) I weighed in at 284.1 lbs. As if that isn't bad enough, I am only 5'2"...I can't believe I let myself get this big. I began dieting and working out and the weight began to slowly drop off. S-L-O-W-L-Y. By New Years Day 2012 I had reached 264.8 pounds. I told you it was slow. 20 pounds in 6 months is too slow for me. I get impatient when I don't see results. I'm sure you can guess what happened next. School started, my crappy eating resumed, my workouts diminished and by June 2012 I was up to 274.6. I feel like I am rambling so let's just cut to the chase. I'm 31 years old and 268.6 lbs. My lifestyle needs to change. I have 2 young children that I want to watch grow. I do not want to die at age 50.
This blog will chronical my journey back to the "One-derland." I haven't been there in almost ten years. But I want to be there again by June 2013. It is going to take some work and determination. And lots of changes on my part. But I am ready. Let's do this. Let's enter the One-derland...
